ABOUT Karen
Karen Ferreyra Interiors offers all aspects of interior design, with a specialty in kitchens and baths, for both residential and commercial clients. Services offered include space planning, renovations, new construction, specification, and selection of materials, and project management. Projects range in size from freshening up a single room to designing an entire home or commercial space. With over twenty years of experience and a background in the remodeling industry, Karen is a "hands-on" designer and enjoys being involved during the construction phase of the project. She attributes her passion for design to growing up in a family-owned construction company, visiting job sites with her father, and then seeing the transformation of the projects as well as the exuberance of the clients!
Karen's design philosophy is basic – interiors should reflect the client's personality, needs, and lifestyle. From concept to completion, her goal is to create an environment that can evolve through the years. She believes that the way a space feels is equally important as its aesthetics and that a well-designed space has the ability to create positive change in our lives.

Karen is a graduate of Hofstra University and The Metropolitan Institute of Interior Design. She is an Allied Member of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) and an Associate Member of IDS (Interior Design Society). Her work has been featured in regional publications, including Remodeling Today and House magazines.
